Not all super heros wear capes, but Taralyn is one of them. Among other accomplishments, Taralyn was responsible for leading the effort for the impactful “Invest in Others” award grant nomination for our Committee Chair, Brenda Blisk.

As result of Taralyn’s submission, Brenda won the national “Invest In Others” Community Service Award this year which resulted in an additional $40,000 donation to help us fund our mission, along with social media and a PR Frenzy. I first met Tara six years ago when she joined the Steering Committee of “in the Bag,’ which is the largest volunteer fundraiser for the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region raising over 1.6 million dollars in 9 years.

For “In the Bag” Taralyn uses her professional skills on a pro bono basis as a give back to the community. This has included grant wiring, and we have also fortunate to be awarded the Pacific Life Grant. I have also supported her efforts with the CORE Foundation at the Superhero Splash and Dash where 40 kids from local shelters and low-income centers received a red carpet V.I.P experience due to her efforts.

I’ve witnessed Taralyn’s top notch leadership and the ability to perform under pressure. I would recommend Move Your Mission with enthusiasm to organizations needing a Catalyst Consultant.
