Taralyn Kohler is a rare talent, leader, and stand out in any group. Her enthusiasm is contagious to those around her. I was honored to serve as her speaking coach with Capital Speakers Club of Washington, a group that includes some of Washington’s most accomplished women, for which I’ve consulted for 25 years.

Not all super heros wear capes, but Taralyn is one of them. Among other accomplishments, Taralyn was responsible for leading the effort for the impactful “Invest in Others” award grant nomination for our Committee Chair, Brenda Blisk.
I knew within 5 minutes of coaching Taralyn that I had uncovered a superstar, a woman whose passion, intention and drive would take her to the stars. Taralyn is the perfect combination of talent, energy, passion and an executive presence. That winning combination enables her success.

I first met Tara while we were both working for Ironheart Foundation. I have to start by saying that Tara is one of the most sincere and thoughtful people that I have ever met.
I had the pleasure of serving on Ironheart’s Board of Directors while Tara served as our Chief Development Officer on a consultant basis. Tara made an immediate impact establishing a Fundraising and Grant Program by winning several key monetary and in kind grants.
